Venture Capital
Commissioned by the state government of Bavaria, Bayern Kapital provides Bavaria-based, high-tech start-ups with participatory capital. These funds, in turn, finance the development and deployment of innovations. The provision of these funds generally occurs on a matching basis. The financial institutions providing participatory equity to the start-ups can also reduce the attendant risk by securing a limited-term option to sell their holdings.
