The State of Bavaria is one of the leading logistics locations in Europe and has much to offer in this field: from top technological competence to a well-qualified and highly motivated potential workforce and an innovative and demand-oriented transport infrastructure. Now that the European Union has opened up to the East, Bavaria enjoys an unparalleled central location as a major gateway to Central, Southern and Eastern Europe. Bavaria will present its extensive logistics competence at SITL 2009 in Paris.
At this year’s SITL, some 500 exhibitors will be presenting their services and new technologies from the fields of overseas forwarding and development of flow of goods, rail freight as well as urban and citizen-friendly logistics. Newly emerging segments like reverse logistics and eCommerce will also be discussed at the conferences and workshops to be held alongside the event. On an exhibition space of 27,000 m2, the organisers are expecting the show to attract some 25,000 trade visitors from over 50 countries.
