New site for Ludvik Mikrocontroller GmbH & Co. KG in Bavaria
MUNICH / GILCHING The Dortmund-based automotive component supplier Ludvik Mikrocontroller GmbH & Co. KG is opening a new branch office today in Gilching in the County of Starnberg. Bavaria’s Minister of Economic Affairs, Martin Zeil, welcomes the new business as a positive signal for the SME-dominated automotive supplier sector: “This decision by Ludvik Mikrocontroller GmbH & Co. KG in favor of Bavaria deserves special credit - especially in these difficult times for the automotive industry.”
The Managing Director of Ludvik Mikrocontroller GmbH & Co. KG, Martin Swade, praised the locational advantages available in the County of Starnberg: “Gilching offers us many opportunities. We are, for instance, planning a cooperation project with HS Genion, a subsidiary of Webasto AG in Gilching, in which we will have a chance to strengthen and complement each other. Other attractive assets are the closeness of Munich and the locally based Aerospace Cluster bavAIRia e.V. I see interesting new fields of business for us here.” The company intends to consistently develop the branch office at the Gilching site in the coming months. Both the Bavarian Ministry of Economic Affairs and Christoph Winkelkötter from the business development agency of the County of Starnberg offered their support and assistance.
With its headquarters in Dortmund, Ludvik Mikrocontroller GmbH & Co. KG is an automotive component supplier and develops automotive electronics. The company currently has about 100 employees at its Dortmund and Lippstadt sites.
