Inside the state

Dr. Ulrike Wolf was appointed in July to be the head of the department of international economics and business development at Bavaria‘s Ministry of Economic Affairs, Infrastructure, Transport and Technology.

The 52 year-old‘s previous position was as head of the air transport department at the Ministry. This was preceded by stints the departments for administrative reform, for the Asia/Pacifi c area, and for Central and Eastern Europe and the CIS state. After studying at the Universities of Munich and Michigan, Wolf earned a doctorate in jurisprudence at the Ludwigs-Maximilians-University in Munich. Dr. Wolf succeeds Dr. Thies Claussen, who was named to be Chief Representative at LfA Landesförderbank Bayern.
