25th German Logistics Congress in Berlin

"Creating Value – Connecting Cultures" – In this spirit, logistics connects people and cultures – to the benefit of all those involved. The ongoing development of corporate culture by companies with global operations underlines the potential offered by diversity. To exploit this potential, companies must integrate social values in their decision-making processes and take full account of culture-specific knowledge and standards.
Creating value and connecting cultures: these are the two guiding principles of the 25th German Logistics Congress. Representatives of diverse cultures will come together in Berlin. In particular, this year we will be welcoming guests from the BRIC countries – Brazil, Russia, India and China. Experiences, success stories and perspectives in and with these countries will be presented, discussed and combined – to generate new knowledge for joint success in the future.

Logistics creates value – worldwide. It makes the emergence of international value added networks possible in the first place. It paves the way for global cooperation despite long distances; logistics overcomes and even takes advantage of time differences. People from diverse cultural backgrounds work together in worldwide corporate networks. Not only does this cooperation produce measurable business success, it also generates values that form the basis for the way companies think and act.

Keynote presentations by leading experts, in-depth discussions and interesting special-topic sequences are complemented by excursions. The parallel exhibition provides ample time and space for communication on innovative solutions for business and industry that will play a vital role worldwide both now and in the future and so ensure that companies can remain successful in complex international value added networks. Efficient logistics integrates and combines the differing strengths of locations in Europe and the rest of the world to create a smoothly functioning overall system.

As in the past, Invest in Bavaria will be at the Congress on a stand with Bavarian logistics regions. Among the regions represented are Bavarian Untermain, Mainfranken, Upper Franconia with the Upper Franconian Logistics Agency and the Kuratorium Hochfranken, Ingolstadt, Nuremberg and Straubing-Sand.
