Bavaria Day at Hannover Messe: Successful forum of innovative Bavarian companies
MUNICH / HANNOVER This year, a large number of Bavarian companies and organizations are once again demonstrating their efficiency and innovative strength at Hannover Messe. Bavaria’s Minister of Economic Affairs, Martin Zeil, commented: “The trade fair is an excellent network for innovation and progress. Companies from the State of Bavaria are presenting themselves here on the communal booth organized by ‘Bayern Innovativ’. Over the past few years, the booth has developed into a hallmark with high recognition value.“
The financial contribution made by the companies only covered part of the booth costs. The other costs were borne by the Bavarian Ministry of Economic Affairs. Zeil: “The strong presence of Bavarian companies and organizations at Hannover Messe is impressive evidence of the leading role Bavaria plays when it comes to innovation and technology.” The Bavarian exhibitors include ten institutes and university institutions as well as 24 companies. Today they are organizing their traditional Bavaria Day at the Hanover trade fair.
Hannover Messe is being held in Hanover from April 20 to 24, 2009. The fair is regarded by experts as the world’s most important technological event. This year a total of 13 international fairs will come together under the overarching theme of ‘Energy efficiency in industrial processes’. The key topics being addressed are industrial automation, energy technologies, propulsion and fluid technology, mobility, supply, future technologies and young academic talent. The wind energy sector is also presenting itself at the premiere of the leading international tradeshow ‘Wind’.
