Bavarian initiatives and programs in the field of New Materials
Bavaria supports material innovation projects of commercial companies. The New Materials in Bavaria Program is aimed at companies that manufacture and process materials and promotes technology transfer and cooperation in materials clusters.

Cross-company R&D projects can receive state grants as “Cooperation projects“.  Bavaria extensively promotes Research projects through its Research and Development Programs and through the Bavarian Research Foundation. Certain regions in Bavaria are entitled to special grants.
