Excellent Labor Relations
German trade unions are strong and well organized compared to unions in other industrialized countries. However, the number of strikes is comparably low. In an international comparison Germany is one of the lowest ranked regarding the number of strikes and the resulting loss of production; the number of days of a strike is substantially lower than the international average as well. Contentment in the Bavarian workplace is expressed in the rate of days lost to strikes or job actions in Bavaria, a rate which is among the lowest in the world. |
