Jan Danisman, Director, joined the United States Office of the Bavarian Ministry for Economic Affairs located in New York City in October 2005.
As Director, Ms. Danisman promotes the many advantages of the State of Bavaria as a business location to U.S. executives and investors. Her industry concentrations are Aerospace and Satellite Navigation, Environmental Technology, Renewable Energy, New Materials, Logistics and Automotive Technology. Ms. Danisman assists prospective foreign investors throughout all stages of the investment process from analysis to final decision, to ensure that they have the support required to successfully establish operations in Bavaria.
Before joining The State of Bavaria’s U.S. team, Ms. Danisman worked for nine years in sales and marketing with a focus on IBM technologies. Prior to that, she worked in logistics at Daimler Benz and at the Colgate-Palmolive subsidiary, Kendall Healthcare. Ms. Danisman holds a BA in Logistics and International Business and an MBA in Marketing from Northeastern University. She is a member of the Council of Supply Chain Management Professionals, the International Economic Development Council and the Society for Automotive Engineers International. She speaks English and German.
