Community of Talent

Bavaria’s deep pool of leading scientists, managers, and technical assistants can readily support the needs of newly established and expanding companies with its talented workforce. The state is pro-active in promoting young scientific talent at its renowned universities, as well as offering state supported training programs for technical assistants. We invite you to view www.ta-na-klar.de for details.

Technology Transfer

Many start-up consulting and technology transfer organizations help scientists commercialize their ideas and also accompany them in the first steps of the business development by providing know-how and connections to networks. The successful BusinessPlan Competitions in Northern Bavaria and Munich are examples of these activities as well as the Garching Innovation which is responsible for the technology transfer of the Max-Planck Institutes.

Cooperation between many of the research institutions, life science companies, and service providers from the financial world put Bavaria’s Biotech Cluster research and industry on the fast-track.

The following organizations are headquartered in Bavaria capital, Munich:

Max-Planck
Fraunhofer Societies
German Patent Office
European Patent Office
